Paul Anderson is a professional geologist with 35+ years of domestic and international mineral exploration experience. He has worked for both major and junior companies, mainly from his own consultancy. He has been involved in numerous technical programs for copper, VMS and gold, including PEA and feasibility studies. He has conducted extensive M&A evaluations for a number of companies, and is experienced in capital funding and market strategies for junior companies. From 2006 to 2013 he managed Riverstone Resources with Michael McInnis, which discovered and developed the +5.0 Moz Karma gold deposit in Burkina Faso, prior to its merger with the company that became True Gold; this in turn was acquired by Endeavour Mining as the Karma mine was entering production. Mr. Anderson has been involved with Abacus since 2016, becoming its President and COO in 2017 and President and CEO in 2021.
